Ben has been in the intellectual property profession since 2003 and mainly handles patent cases concerning physics based technologies, mechanical engineering, electronics and communications. In particular, Ben’s experience has included handling patent cases for a wide variety of car and aeroplane components, many communications technologies such as those found in mobile telephones and telecommunications networks, digital electronics, manufacturing processes, and medical devices. Ben also advises on infringement and validity issues. Ben represents clients in patent matters directly before the UK Intellectual Property Office, the European Patent Office and the World Intellectual Property Office.

Ben has extensive experience of protecting designs and advising on design rights, including on contentious matters. He represents clients in design matters before the UK Designs Registry (part of the UK Intellectual Property Office) and the European Community Designs Registry (known as the "Office for Harmonisation of the Internal Market").

Ben graduated in 2002 from the University of Warwick. After work experience in the intellectual property department of a law firm, Ben was taken on by an established firm of patent attorneys. Ben moved in 2006 to a large London firm of patent attorneys, which he has since left to found Snipe Chandrahasen LLP. Ben lived for a year in Paris and is fluent in French.
